Seabrook Solutions CEO Named SBA’s Person of the Year for Alabama
Huntsville, Ala. - Seabrook Solutions is proud to announce that our CEO, Lang Sims, has been named Alabama’s Small Business Person of the Year by the U.S. Small Business Administration, a recognition that highlights not just growth, but impact.
Since stepping into the CEO role in 2014, Sims has helped transform Seabrook Solutions from a team of fewer than ten employees into a nationwide organization supporting federal missions across defense and civil space. Along the way, the company has leveraged SBA programs, from early funding to strategic mentorship, fueling steady and intentional expansion while positioning the business for long term success.
“I am incredibly honored and humbled to receive this recognition,” said Sims. “This award truly belongs to our team. Every day, they show up committed to making a difference for our customers, for each other, and for our country. I’m grateful to lead alongside President Craig Seabrook, whose partnership and vision continue to shape who we are as a company.”
Sims’ leadership style is defined by operational discipline and a people first mindset that has built a culture focused on delivering results for customers.
“Lang leads with purpose, passion, and integrity, and she has an incredible ability to keep our team moving forward no matter the challenge,” said Seabrook Solutions President and Co-Owner Craig Seabrook. “This recognition reflects not only her leadership, but the strong, mission driven culture she has built.”
Sims will represent Alabama in Washington, D.C. during National Small Business Week, where she is a contender for the national title. The national winner will be announced on May 3.
